Hi, I'm Marjolein

I create images that help people see themselves more clearly - honest, layered, and with greater compassion for their own complexity.

Based between Spain and the Netherlands, I graduated from Fotoacademie Amsterdam. As a former physiotherapist turned visual artist, I understand how bodies carry tension, not just physical.

My work explores that particular tension. The space where softness meets struggle, where we want to be seen but need to hide.
